It takes awhile to get reviews, gain traction, get repeat guests, word of mouth from satisfied guests, etc.   

I was able to package three of them in one deal, which ended up breaking even/not profitable (A little bummed on this one since I think the buyer (an investor) won the better side of the deal in terms of gaining equity on the houses).

No capital gains for 2out of 5 years. $250,000 per married individual.

Hi Joe - For a single-member LLC, the IRS disregards the LLC as a separate tax entity which means no capital gain impact on transfer.

Just started a few months ago so with more reviews I’m sure I’ll gain some more revenue but it’s high end luxury fully amenitized sleeps almost 30 people (so not much more value I can add that I can think of). 

So the weight of selection really comes down to you, what you most want to do, strive towards etc..
