I am wondering if this area is 1) investable, 2) safe, 3) What is the long term outlook for this community? 

@Jonah Gunalda you fit the profile of a large segment of the passive investing community--someone who has a good income from something they are really good at, and would like exposure to real estate in their investment portfolio without distracting them from that very vocation that put them in the position to make such an investment in the first place.There probably isn't a "typical" profile of folks who do not and would not invest in syndications. 

May be expensive but they are dedicated to private lender law, securities law and creditors' rights.

this will just set you back.i don't know what time you have available to dedicate to RE - if you are able, you could try to build a team and explore a market within a couple hours of you with a lower price point. 

I am fairly well connected in the REI community here. 

New to BP and am really impressed by this community! 

All this can render a pre nup irrelevant in community property states.
