Don't just read the lease!

Some investors use leasing agents with a lockbox setup for showings, but you still have to coordinate repairs, inspections, and make sure things actually get done.I wrote a post on the pros/cons of long-distance self-management.

Additionally, it's working; it is just not very efficient.

I was trying to avoid the eviction process just because I know it can be rather lengthy in IL, I figured with the month-to-month I can just cancel it hopefully without any issues.
