DONATE IT!

Before owning real estate, other than donating some money to a cause, we've never really had a chance to do anything of significance for anyone in a crisis.  

I plan on going to the next REIA and Investor Underground meet-up to meet other investors but also wanted to see if there were any people looking to mentor the steps of rehab in return for my donated time to assist with your investment needs.

Can properties be donated?

If there is a local habitat for humanity store (restore) near you, you can donate to them.

If not, it is good to see people with the extra time and money to donate to a cause they believe in.

Also, if you've inherited some nice furniture, appliances, etc. in your rental what's the quickest route to getting it sold or picked up for donations...

We also have NJ property tax at $9,800, some student loan interest, and we make a few donations every year. 

If you are looking at a business then I say do not.We had a situation where the association (The business arm of the club) was asked to donate to honor flight because they flew one of our members.
