In a real estate transaction there is a uniform profit/commission for a real estate agent across the board that is recognized by the industry as a whole, this doesn't exist for contractors.

I also downloaded a Fannie Mae Form Uniform Residential Loan Application, and it looks pro, but I haven't read through all the fine print yet to see if permission to pull credit, etc, is included.I found a tenant screening service here on BP, RentPrep, and I would think that it would be the same information I need, but not sure if it will work legally to use as a loan application screening instead of a rental screening.

An issuer will be presumed to have a reasonable belief that all of the purchasers of its securities in this state are purchasing for investment pursuant to Section 58-13C-202N(3)(a) if:(1) the issuer, prior to a sale of its securities to a purchaser, obtains from that purchaser a signed statement that the purchaser is acquiring the securities for its own account and does not intend to resell the securities within twelve months of the purchase date;(2) the issuer maintains a record of all statements obtained pursuant to Paragraph (1) of this subsection;(3) written disclosure is provided to each purchaser prior to sale that the securities have not been registered under the New Mexico Uniform Securities Act and cannot be resold unless the securities are so registered or can qualify for an exemption from registration; and(4) a legend is placed on the certificate or other document that evidences the security stating that the securities have not been registered under the New Mexico Uniform Securities Act and cannot be resold unless the securities are so registered or can qualify for an exemption from registration.D.

If you want brownie points feel free to bring to the meeting:3 most recent pay stubs2 years of complete Federal tax returns (all pages)2 years of W-2 tax returns2 months of bank statements (all pages)Explanations for any deposits on those bank statements which weren't payroll/salaryAnd if you have extra time on your hands this weekend and want super duper brownie points, you could start working on the detailed listing of income, expenses, assets and liabilities on a version of the Uniform Residential Loan Application.Or you could just go to the meeting and let her/him tell you what they want and need from you :)
