Hi all,I'd like to get some advice on the following.I own a couple of properties in central California with potential for building up additional units on each one of them.The first one is a tiny single family home (~800 sf) on a big R3 lot where I can get a permit to build 2 or 3 additional units (although the cost of the permit per unit is much higher if I build 3 or more units, so I might stick with 2)The second one is a duplex, 2 1-bed small homes on a big R2 lot where I can build at least 1 more unit.

Ridiculous.....In the vast majority of cases that interest is going to be tiny and not worth the hassle of maintaining the separate account.

Though there are those who choose prefab for aesthetics and ease (such as the Sonoma weeHouse videos who stated they didn't have to "babysit" the build)........I recently interviewed someone who has a tiny house in his backyard and wants to rebuild the stick-built home currently on the property (it's tiny and needs repairs).

In the mean time C-, D neighborhoods homes sold several M dollars a pop for 4 plex, 1++ M for old tiny SFH that one can not get much more than 1K to section 8 tenants today.
