Focus on meeting other passive investors who actually put skin in the game. - Did it meet expectations?

Cindy,One way to skin this cat: have the tenants contract with a moving company (or maybe even the contractor) to include moving the contents into storage and back into the room.

With a LO you get a tenant with skin in the game ($9k option consideration in my case)  and a commission-free sale with no vacancy. 

I’m a first time investor looking to get some skin in the game, I would like to have some pointers or suggestions on good locations to invest in.

I have my "regular" local bank lender here, we have done previous cash-out refinances, construction loans, 85% LTV investment loans, you name it.However, when I went to speak to my lender about this deal, they weren't keen on the idea of me having no "skin in the game."  

You are going to have to have skin in the game (some money in the deal).

I am willing to start with a duplex or triplex or whatever fits my budget just to get some skin in the game.

@Elijah Crew, not sure that most private lenders will do 100% financing, most want to see some skin in the game.

While not all are willing to cover the land costs (that is considered the borrower's "skin in the game") some can help cover the land purchase if the deal falls within their guidelines.

John Warren, that makes a lot of sense for the other partner to have some skin in the game.
