I recently spoke with the town's zoning inspector, who confirmed that the building is in a GB (General Business) zone.

There is an area in Redlands CA that is pretty close to a war zone.

Think in terms of green yellow red communication in these reports.  

Hotel, motel, and bed and breakfast uses are permitted in multiple zoning districts around the city.

I have reaped huge rewards from investing in the red hot Bay Area real estate market.

So we would have to add a number of doors to our portfolio and even if we could find good deals (which we don't see many of) it would take years and a good deal of work before we would have enough to put us into the comfort zone. 

I am in Barry County, so there’s no planning and zoning.

These people are also concentrated in major metro areas with lots of red tape on development and limited space to build anything new.
