Greetings everyone, 13 months ago when planning to move to Monterey, CA I was swept up in a wave of enthusiasm to enter the real estate market after feeling like I missed out over the past 15 years, and I used my VA loan to purchase a SFH.

Bubbling with enthusiasm and so green they have no concept of how to go about screening let alone understand how almost every applicant is dishonest to some degree.

There were other cap ex issues as well in this particular building and I lost enthusiasm for the property.Sometimes you just have to do it if the old ones get too far gone; but don't think you will recover your investment.

Your enthusiasm for real estate and commitment to learning and contributing are fantastic assets to this group.
