Most of the time I'm signing a lease 30-60 days before move in, plenty of time for a check, Cozy, or Zelle payment to clear, so I'm not sure why I did this. 

As @John Warren mentioned above, I have heard good things about Cozy.

Condos can also be a good option for out of state investors even to self manage with a handyman and use Cozy.
