Meat on the bone How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Do you throw them a bone and go above and beyond no matter what?  

While I don't want to leave any meet on the bone I also don't want the house to sit.

It's in a great location for my buy and hold plans, and I think that in the end based on the bones of the house and what they said they'd take for it, I can get a good cash flow from it as a rental after even a full reno, so I would like to try to help them out while helping myself too. 

So a new check valve was installed to replace the existing check valve, which was definitely leaking.I went to the property today and all the new piping, fittings, and check valve are bone dry.I think my issue is...water...and lots of it...is making its way into the basement somehow when there is heavy rain.

They are just marking it up and there’s no skin left on the bone for the investors.  

Nothing wrong with "the bones".

I like houses that have curb appeal, or good bones where curb appeal can be added.I don't buy on busy streets or under high tension lines.

Use two sets of funds, one to close A-B, one to close B-C.

Same reason why people call tissues “Kleenex” or inline skates “rollerblades”.
