Ive lived in Thailand the last four years and have an opportunity to purchase a 30 year lease on a brand new fully furnished eco 1 bedroom at a beautiful tropical location that only gets busier each year.

I did not want to saddle them with student debt and as a parent and businessman this was one of my proudest moments that I could afford to do that.

For the moment, it's good enough that the home value and rent value continue to increase with everything else in Lakewood, but is this the peak?

It's like beautiful art to me!

It's easy to find beautiful victorians for $300,000 that would cost $1 million in my market.

So that was my ah ha moment.

Hi @Rania Mutumhe - I had a similar story by my first property before I knew anything about BiggerPockets or real estate investing and then stumbled upon BP.....Light bulb moment!

Prices are still going up but demand is now dropping substantially because, without the foreigners' money pouring in, it's likely not sustainable and demand is dropping strongly at the moment.
