But, I do like the flapper-less provision.Bruce If you have old, deteriorating cast-iron or galvanized waste lines, the inner surface will be far from smooth - pitted in places, with mounds of rust build-up in others, etc.  

You can also have different glazings on the various pane (glass) surfaces to increase/decrease solar gain, reflectivity, UV wavelengths, etc. depending on which exposure (N, E, S, W) the window is to be installed.  

Can't wash it, though, so if your surface is decent enough, I'd go with an eggshell or satin for sure.

This is a very good question as on the surface to pay 40% (up to 50% in some cases) seem like highway robbery, but unlike a stand alone bungalow the marketing, sales and operating expenses are quite different. 

Not to mention other damage to paint and laminate surfaces..If you try to vent it into a crawlspace, the mold will happen even faster.I'd do what it takes to get it vented outside.  

You need to remove any painted friction surface.

The sheer scale of the economies of scale have proven to work really well for us but i appreciate this may not on the surface seem as attractive as no up front contribution but at least you get to keep 100% of returns and are not tied up for any length of time.

I even have the metal guard things to protect a corner area when cutting the paint onto the other surface.
