Like @Cory Adams pointed out, many people made the decision to short sale based on the notion that your primary residence is an asset or investment and if it tanks you should dump it like a stock...

The notion of searching is more tedious than some might want to endure...

Seconding Ryan's notion that the abundance of hotels could be risky.

Those are just my thoughts on the notion, but again I'm already strongly against the idea because of #2.

I have strong notions of where the bad neighborhoods are, but it's a very broad perspective.

I have no personal experience regarding this seminar nor any preconceived notions.

This is all based on my own research and general feel though so I could be wrong on some or all of these notions so please feel free to give your opinions.

There seems to be a notion that wholesalers, forgetting the legality, have the best deals.  

I discovered too that there are many preconceived notions about this process and the people that go through it (as I had them too) but you can really only understand once you've been to the other side.

I think that's a great notion for the obvious reasons of being down the street from your properties.
