I would not think of either of these options come into my mind such as "I cannot wait to refinance when rates hit X". 

So will more inventory hit the market in 2025, probably, but the key is, is it quality STR inventory hitting the market. 

What is hitting you for rate is the LTV and the fact that it is a second home.

Chances are you don't want to buy a building that had PERC spills and EPA just chomping at the bit to hit the new owner with environmental cleanup costs, that might be way more than the building is worth.
