I disagree as we were never provided a key to that lock, and whether it was by accident, mechanical failure or otherwise we never had a means to unlock that door.I understand the argument if we had lost a key or we're told no key existed on move in (although in latter case should have been rectified if known problem.But I, as a landlord, would not hold my tenants responsible for something they were never given.What say you?
