I would make some calls until you find one with the experience you desire.

Being a licensed agent in New York gives you a great advantage in finding and evaluating deals.

Have you reached out to any social service organizations that might be able to provide tenants to your property?

I'd probably find a board certified real estate attorney to do it.

I'll throw in my 2 cents on common differences I've seen in my career:CDFIs - Because of their subsidized financing structure, they have the ability to be a low cost lender (and sometimes provide grants).

It isn't a big job but I don't want things to go south so I stay in it.Of course I practically live on this forum so I pass along any pertinent info I find as well as answer questions.
