Hi Marcus,I have been doing this process recently and might be able to provide some insight, but I am not an expert in this.There are many companies out there that can be your 'One stop shop" with LLCs, virtual office/address, and registered agents.

Not sure how close you are in terms of proximity to the university but my Dad bought property near a university for over 30 years and eventually a developer came in and bought everyone out and added luxury student housing and shopping with a huge payday for all the owners who had bought many years before.

There is also one mentioned a lot on this forum that has a long thread that someone shared the investors are wiped out, just not officially because the sponsors are trying to scrape up as much money through capital calls to get back their own money that they provided to the syndication in the fashion of loans.
