Assuming you ate nothing and paid 0 taxes, you turned 200k into 500k in 5 years??  

My next door neighbor is a PhD in infectious disease (as well as having done a Ted Talk, so he knows his stuff).

You ate already ahead so just stick with it and you will be in good shape.

I ate crap for 10yrs and this took discipline but I knew what the end results would be.

You are repeating the words of very smart people who eventually when married and had kids ate a lot of crow when did exactly what you are saying not to do.

But I cannot say  I exercised 30 minutes today,  read for 45 minutes today, ate no processed foods today unless I did those things.

Granted it does add fuel to a fire... and I don't know much about Memphis or Scottsdale but there is no "bubble" about the fact that Amazon is eating retails lunch, just like Expedia ate the travel agents lunch. 

I lived in the cheapest apartment I could find (within bike riding distance to work), ate a lean cuisine for lunch 5 days a week and shopped at Nordstroms Rack for work clothes.
