Why lie to us?

However, if you know for a fact that you are getting out or already have orders to PCS then an integrity check may be in order because you will be lying on your mortgage application when you sign the part that says you intend to occupy the property for at least one year.

[Hint: Selective truth = lying]. 

anyway I love that show as well.. but usually its investors being too trusting and not getting any verification other than internal reports from the sponsor.. the bank accounts don't lie and unfortunately when you go into many of these deals like Crowd funded deals you have no Access to the bank account.. so really its what ever reports they send back.. its only when you check the  actual bank accounts does reality come to play.

However, I do not take kindly to people that lie to me, so if they are just saying that to get out of paying extra then I would for sure charge them. 

Then they lay awake at night when they can't get a property rented, have unrealistic expectations at the start, and think everyone who told them real estate was where the real money is, lied to them. 

If their lips are moving , they are lying .
