I have a few California clients self managing class A multi units in Chicago also same way. 

He is a king at it though, I'll give him that.

Our current agent is the only agent who has suggested that we try to sell them separately since selling them together didn't appear to work.On the other hand, maybe prospective buyers are waiting to see how much lending rates decline in the next few months and what happens with the Costa-Hawkins proposition on CA ballots this November.  

I currently live in Southern California but am looking to dip my toes into real estate investing via purchasing a rental investment property in Kansas City (I have roots there, visit fairly often, have real estate connections there, etc.).

I do actually plan to move to Houston from California for school but that is not until the near future.

Hey Lucas, I've been investing in Detroit since 2019 and currently hold 12-doors there.I've done it all... buying with tenants, Section 8, full gut rehabs (to the studs), cosmetic BRRRR's, and I even run an STR there.I live in California currently but lived in Troy from 2017-2022.

Absolutely love San Diego county and wish I could do something in Encinitas, CA but priced way out of the market.

As much as I'm aware State Farm stopped doing business in California epically new policies.

That could be a big pain in California.

Private property has been under attack here in California.
