I met with the inspector and told him what my plan was and that I did not need him to document the little stuff like missing fixtures on holes in the walls as i was going to renovate all of it i just wanted him to hit the big ticket items the 3 HVAC units, roof, structure and electrical system. he said he could do that for $100 I was sold. 

I’m excited about learning as much as I can and figuring out what my long term REI strategy will be, learning about different markets, hearing other people’s stories and sharing the little bit of experience I have with someone that might benefit :)I find myself day-dreaming that REI could possibly someday be my ticket out of my 9-5 consulting job…but that seems like an impossible dream right now.

Plane tickets, hotels, car rentals, food, etc. all add up.

If your ROI makes sense then a short term, higher interest unsecured personal loan might be the golden ticket for you.

Well I'm pretty good with my hands can make all basic repairs myself...I would hire someone to do bigger ticket repairs and thinks I can't handle.
