When talking to them, pitch it as they will have more privacy than a traditional big apartment building and I always hear that renting a 2-4 family they feel like they are renting a condo instead of an apartment. 

I know that I can get a home and rent out rooms, but I really value my privacy.

Is it just the snoring they complain about because I would also be concerned that if they can hear each other snoring they can hear others talking on the phone and conversations so the lack of privacy would be highly concerning to me if I was a tenant.

I’d still let the neighbors know you’re doing it to add some privacy and such (no mention of the problems). :)

Check FL state law as to privacy, state authorities cannot hold private meetings with the public, pretty much uniform law as to government, check sunshine laws as well. 

They specifically step aside in any disputes in this regard, and it is notoriously difficult to try to get information as the property owner (as they will generally strive to maintain client privacy). 

He also mentioned establishing a real estate privacy trust for each of my rentals along with an LLC.  

I wouldn't be invading their space or privacy in any way nor actually watching the thermostat from my phone neurotically, but could easily switch to the app once in a while to check.
