My main concern would be using HELOC on personal residence to make first real estate investment, not as concerned with the Roth/IRA but still don't want to make a big mistake on the first one.

Looking at the Citrona website, I see basic spelling mistakes, a lack of executive/owner bios, and no case studies showing the financials for some of your projects (which is surprising as one of the founders worked for 10 years at a financial services firm).

I’d like to know other people’s experiences so I don’t make the same mistake.  

Make no mistake about it, if you aren't ready for the **** it'll bring I recommend to do something else.
