Besides the bank-owned property, are you looking for the residential and commercial market place in NJ?

There are different dbases of info and I can understand it not being removed for a year or two, however if this home is in C'ville, it's skeptical that they didn't detect it.

It will depend greatly on where it is and your local market.Something like that would rent for around $1200/month in my area.Search on Zillow, Craigslist and FB market place for a 3/2 in your area and see what people are trying to rent a similar property for and also how many of them there are advertised for rent.

I plan on investing long term, so that doesn't seem like a problem, but it would be nice if they setup a marketplace to sell bits and whatnot. 

Check out the wholesalers' ads in the marketplace, you'd think cap rate is the ONE and only metric that matters in buying a rental house.

Facebook Marketplace is the best place to get potential tenants.

I recommend setting up keyword alerts for each area as they are discussed in the forums daily with advertisements posted in the BiggerPockets marketplace hourly.One thing to note when looking at the individual markets, you can make or loose money in any market.

Its one big company in all 50 States, not separate market place offices or franchises.
