The realtors job is much the same, spending countless hours meeting the home inspector and whoever else and multiple phone calls getting one issue after another to make sure the sale actually does close (which they often don't!)

That sense of urgency, sticking to the general rules of thumb, having a good sense of the whole process from start to finish, and the forums here to ask any questions I had when snags came up, gave me the confidence to move forward.I did however read countless books and spent many months on the forums asking questions like a madman prior to that.
