Hello, I own a plumbing company with 40 + employees and mostly work under contractors that do remodel, new construction and commercial work.

Another example of this is the reduction in new construction starts for residential over the past 1-2 years.

We had built the unit ourselves and had done some sound mitigation as well during construction but it ultimately was not sufficient. 

That being said, I think there might be an opportunity for this program to be expanded as the the politicians seem to finally be understanding that they need to do something to fix the lack of supply of new construction homes and I'm thinking this program may end up being a part of their solution.I've tried finding some real meat/details on the program but all I can seem to find is the broad strokes at a really high level. 

What I also enjoy is when people put out articles with contradicting view points and in six months or a year point to the - "see how correct i was", well yeah you placed bets on both red, black and green so you were going to be correct because you bet on all options.

There are two idea I’m batting around in my head right now to get started on my REI journey – I can do it purely on the investing side and become a private lender or a source of hard money loans to builders/developers (maybe that looks like funding a construction loan collecting interest payments while buying time to better understand the dynamics and build relationships) or I can JV/partner with a builder and get equity (upside on a flip/sale) which would be more hands on.Curious what ya’ll input, what you think is the best route for me to dip my toes into REI given my aforementioned situation and current market.

These areas not only feature affordable purchase prices for many investors but also offer turnkey homes—either newly constructed or fully renovated—ready for tenants.
