And yes; take advantage of the Black Friday sales...other times I'll use my 10 percent off Lowes coupons (also accepted at Home Depot) coupled with gift cards purchased through raise.com or cardpool.com at 8-9 percent off their face value.

When you pay back principal early, they essentially apply a coupon / discount for paying it early.

AND it doesn't have to be because the price went down, let's say you get a coupon for 20% off your gas, what happens?
