Toledo is also one of the cities with the most restaurants per capita, and our very own Marco's Pizza has been expanding their business across the country. 

But for some reason homes, restaurants, employers, hospitals, and more are either expanding or brand new to the area.

You have the US-style standard properties that only the foreigners and wealthy and upper middle-class Mexicans can afford and buy.

I wasn't interested in RE investing at the time but I've kept in touch with him as friends and have been able to run quick questions by him from time to time, and any time his dad is in town I "kidnap" him, take him to dinner at his favorite ethnic restaurants, and pick his brain. 

I started my hospitality company back in Feb 2020 and luckily did not get a restaurant location due to Covid.

How have the restaurant owners gotten away with this for so long? 

Its become a hip-urban nook with 3 very popular breweries, restaurants, cafe's and a bike shop within 1-2 blocks, 1/2 mile easy access to I25 (interstate) and right on the main tourist route.  

Two years ago I did a huge restaurant job for a guy who owns a chain of restaurants in my area.
