They do have some on-line learning resources as I recall, also.Personally, I am affiliated with another REI education group and I am as BIG a proponent of "learn it before you try to do it" as anyone would be in any other field of endeavor, such as plumbing, carpentry, concrete, electrical work, culinary arts, tonsorial arts, etc.Here's how -I- measure the value of paid education: if paying whatever they're asking up front keeps you from losing 2- to 5-times or more that amount due to mistakes in a deal or structuring your business entities, was it worth it to get educated and prevent costly mistakes?...

A dollar amount and the phrase "for good and valuable consideration" may or may sufficient in a transfer of title and may not be the same as described or required in a purchase contract that conveys an equitable interest.Mixing these two concepts is incorrect.When a purchase contract is made, legal title remains with the seller, but equitable title is given to a buyer, full title is in  state of limbo until settlement.Equitable title must be financially measurable, if it is not measurable or cannot be established and is an amount customarily accepted, equitable title may be limited or may not exist.

NH is fairly lenient on sub metering and billing, so it should be fairly straightforward.I see systems for larger apartment complexes, but I don't see a lot of low-cost systems in place to accurately measure and recover costs to heat a unit in a small multi-family dwelling.

I feel badly for this man, his family and the trauma the agent was put through but I don't think it's enough to warrant taking absurd measures when you're being sufficiently cautious already.
