The triangle is only growing, and the interest rates are rock bottom. 

The home prices in the Triangle make it more challenging to target this audience as they're typically looking for something  smaller (1-2 BR) and affordable.

I read somewhere that 85% of all Texas residents live in the texas triangle with dfw at the top, SA on the bottom right and Htown on the bottom left with Atx in the middle.

There is a monthly BP meet up in Raleigh, there is a monthly Pints and Properties meet up in Raleigh, and Triangle Real Estate Investors Association has a ton of networking and education events every month. 

You could MAYBE get that in The Triangle as well, but most of what is in the Triangle are families who want to be close to Salisianum so there is a lot less demand for any legal single family duplex conversions you may find.
