We are seeing more non-local folks than ever at our meetings just like yourself; folks wanting to survey the landscape. 

I understand the value of networking of course, and meetups, and there are a few that I've found informal (we meet at starbucks every monday afternoon) ... but I'm curious about these membership associations.

You need to sit down with the zoning administrator after you pay for a survey that is recorded at the courthouse (because zoning won't talk to you if there's isn't one).

Results are out today for a AOL / Zogby Housing Survey.

I discussed this with my lawer and according to her it can take upto 3 months to get CO and survey done.

Forums are worth 1000 times what club membership and other resources are.

If I could pass it through my parents to just give me the 20 grand a year for REI classes and memberships I would... but that won't be happening unfortunately.

I won't be renewing this year even though its only $75 yearly membership fee.

Many of the REIA's here are struggling with the lower level of membership.
