This generally occurs with more expensive properties in those areas because your target market segment gets smaller due to BAH rates but it is something to think about.

Average sales prices were up 8.58% due to a shift in segments; sales in the sub-$100k category shrunk by over 22% as values are pushing up into higher segments; everything else has grown, in particular the segments 200-300k (nice homes, but affordable, flips) and over 500k (luxury).Milwaukee County DUPLEX Market 2018 vs (2017):Very similar picture, sales remained pretty stable at 1518 units (vs 1545), with inventory down to 3.56 months (vs 4.41) and also here shorter days on market: 27 (from 33).

I saw a financial news segment discussing that all the big banks, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, USAA, etc... are all holding off on collecting mortgage payments, credit card payments, personal loans, etc... for up to 3 months and not charging any late fees or reporting any negative hits to the credit bureaus if you're a Fed and being affected by the shutdown.

I had my focus on (Broward, Hollywood/Del Ray Ft Lauderdale etc.)It's a very diverse area but also very segmented as far as neighborhood demographics.

(Everyone groans "Hi Nico" as if they're in some sort of depressed AA meeting.)When I was in high school, my mindset was straightforward: Study hard > Get good grades > Graduate > Enter college for my bachelors > Repeat the first three steps > Study hard for GREs > Enter grad school for my masters > Repeat first three steps again > Find a job > Gain experience > Quit old job for a higher-paying position at another company > Repeat last two steps indefinitely until retirement and live off of savings.Then, literally on the day of (or before) my college graduation date and ceremony, I saw a segment on the news that posed the question, "Is college really worth it?"
