I’m trying to save PM fees by using rent redi software for the time being until I am able to scale up

Then the guest speaker started discussing some legal topics and I thought some of the advice was not great (since I handle real estate transactions on a small scale) so it turned me off a bit.

Hi all,I have 5 units and will have the ability over the next couple years to scale some.One thing that is holding me back is the time commitment on maintenance between little issues that wouldnt really make sense for a handyman/contractor to do and probably wouldnt take the job anyway to renos/painting/etc between tenants and everything in between.

@Shiloh Lundahl Yes, I've been exploring business models like that and would love to see somebody doing it successfully on a small scale (say four properties on four different islands).

Once you've gained more experience, you can relocate to a cheaper market and scale up your investments.

@Carlos Valencia @Albert BuiGood to know about this since I’m definitely planning to scale in the future!  

It’s better than nothing so I keep using my 401k like an ATM if I need 50k to scale up.

And I just quickly found out that I wanted something with a little more scale and a little more meat on the bone.

This allows you to scale multiples on your net worth over time.
