You must understand what they need and will consider as the norm before you can ever sell them on your abilities of being creative and increasing value in any transaction.We have a lot of "pitch" men or women in real estate, we have the get rich gurus, deal makers and many will use a pitch or slogan like, "find the deal the money will come" but that's really not true. 1. real deals are made, not found and 2. they generally lack entrepreneurial skills as they follow a system or routine, they don't really understand what is in the box before they try to think out of it.The fact is, you need to learn real estate, understand what it is that you have to offer, where value comes from for what you have to bargain with, show and demonstrate your knowledge, your entrepreneurial skills.

Paulette -That is a terribly frustrating moment, and I think we - even the men- have all shared in that experience that you talk about. 

It's very well maintained, the seller said one of the older men on the street maintains it and some people give him $50 for his work.  

They are usually 3-men crew as opposed to 10 fleets.

Sure from time to time handy men or subs but on a whole the other way around.

I, too, plan on having multiple sources of income flowing at me n, unless something smacks me in the head to tell me otherwise about this thought, I think it's more of a plus lol

I found the deal, negotiated the price with the seller, offered to do all of the manual labor, landscaping, offered to meet all contractors and handy men, etc. 

Many men are okay with it but the wife can get fed up with a never ending project (that was our place growing up; I didn't know till later how much my mother hated it).
