Is there an interview process for the company?

I like to have a heads up from them about it before the interview.

Negotiating on labor costs by interviewing multiple contractors.

I would recommend you call as man companies as possible and then narrow it down to two or three that you want to interview.

Also, before you do switch to a different PM you should take the time to vet and interview a few others.

@Tyler MartinYou shouldn't feel stress working with a professional - especially if you are paying $$ for the services.If your tax profile includes real estate(buy and hold, fix and flips or wholesaling) you may benefit from interviewing a couple accountant's on this website.

So when you are interviewing lenders, ask that specific question - "how do you use rental income when it's not on tax returns" - and see what they say. 

One thing I would suggest is definitely interviewing your tenants to find the right one.
