Keeping people in their homes and out of crowded or congregate settings — like homeless shelters — by preventing evictions is a key step in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.The order can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-eviction-declaration.htmlI guess some states have been sitting on the money and not paying it to landlords :( Ohio (at least my county) has already done four rounds of funding in July, October, December, and have been accepting applications and sending out money since April-- They ran out of money in the December round and only half our tenants that applied were funded but they have since caughtup all but two and we expect one of those two to get funded soon.I will sure be glad when this is over though.

More Public Housing should be built--aka "the Projects".I know they are crime holes, It's better than homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks, and it keeps the crime concentrated in one area. Most of these people are probably just between Prison Sentences.

I have taken on numerous multi family projects through the years, from six-plexes to 75 unit complexes, with generally smooth transitions, except for one twelve unit property filled with unemployed criminals and homeless campers.

I was half joking with a lender friend- I'll be out on the street with a cardboard sign like the homeless people in the Bay Area while I own 2 rental properties.
