The only access to my money that he has is an account at the local hardware store.He would be very difficult to replace given that I only pay him $20 per door per month as an on-going fee in addition to 'extras' (like $100 to turn a unit).Does anyone have any tips on how to keep him on a short leash? 

Also in kitchen they have no hardware, and I am back and forth on putting in hardware as that can be expensive and people may  not like what we chose.  

We're achieving a modern feel with maple shakers and gray tops and the hardware makes a huge difference.

It's actually cheaper for us many times to replace the windows with these turnkey window companies than replace the glass and hardware!

I agree, knowing how the system works, the rules of the road, and the "hardware" doesn't teach you how to think or how it applies or fits in to the strategies.

@Ross BernardHey Ross, There are brushes made to clean out the dryer vent about 3 feet long at most home centers and hardware stores...... but it sound like you have a longer run through the roof instead of outside the wall behind the dryer.Is the exhaust pipe flimsy flexible pipe or is it hard metal duct pipe?

I've noticed a consistent trend -in my area- of flipped houses not having hardware/handles on the brand new kitchen cabinets.

Whose at fault and whose Wallet pays for the obvious water damage repair that will be needed to be done now.
