I have a 3 unit building and the basement is dark, little ventilation and gets really humid.

I'm in the dark about how newbie agents get started, however.

The reasons vary Could be any of the following;  don't want to live in the dark, power was cut off for non payment, starting a short term meth lab, house of Ill repute or whatever, use your imagination.

For example if you are not on the friends and family list and  want to paint your home,  you fill out the form, choose paint colors on their approved list and wait for the permit. 

The floors are currently painted dark brown.

I did try to find a match before a few years ago for the kitchen before I decided to just put a light, tile-colored luxury vinyl tile in there over a drycore-type sub.

You could also see the beams inside the walls throughout the condo despite there being a lot of very bold colors on the walls.

Soaring highs in the sky and lowest of lows into pitch black darkness.

It runs about $1.75 per square foot, and my favorite color currently is khaki oak.

Match the color with the bathrooms fixtures.
