Thailand's climate for foreign investment is not great.  

I do see many 100% outside RV storage lots in the desert climate areas in LA county looking pretty full still.

Now that the climate has changed, it seems that the rumors floating around are that you will get called by your lender if you transfer out of your personal name to an LLC even if you continue to pay on time as in the past.Anyone??

I would go with French doors in a sub zero climate such as northwest pa.  

But I can't really speak to your local micro-climate in terms of real estate investments, either. 

The unparalleled climate and limited land is what often drives the demand in our RE cycles.

Not really sure about banking climate in SF.

I think in a dry climate it wouldn't matter but in a humid climate you would either bring in a lot of moisture in the basement or into the house that then gets conditioned with your AC before drawn into the basement.

In that climate, high IR's and high prices (even high payments) are immaterial. 

Is there a need for climate controlled self storage?
