We're looking for an architect/drafter to layout a few plans. 

Does anyone have a recommendation for a New Jersey-based architect or construction group (preferably on the smaller side) that does small warehouse/flex space projects?

Have connections with architects and contractors who can do the rehab.Not here to get rich quick but gain some experience and start building up a portfolio.

I have not - permitting, engineering, architects - get people involved and see what the cost would be.

We are still in the planning stages since we are looking for a draftsman or a reasonably priced architect.

I'm using an architect to draft up the plans which will need to be submitted to the city for permitting.  

Though I studied architecture, I'm not a licensed architect.

He says he can buy a new metal building kit of the size he needs for 30k....no slab and not constructed...and he is being told 700k total price to custom build but they need the architect building design with lifts and oil storage etc and civil engineer site plan with drainage to give a hard price.
