I am looking for a property for myself in central or south west Florida.Sarasota is one of my favorite places, as it has nice beaches and it's close to Tampa if I need to get a job in the tech sector.But almost all the homes in Sarasota are part of a HOA, which is a deal killer for me.I did find about North Port, which is also in Sarasota county but about 30 minutes drive to any nice beach.Can you recommend nice places like Sarasota but without HOA communities?

@Milena SimsicAs a former pest inspector I did while home inspections, if i noticed a problem area I then told the customer in the report for instance: Chimney needs a crown and tuckpoint.Roof needs repair southwest corner, or roof needs replaced.

In short, I believe there will naturally be ups and downs but that the U.S. southwest in general and Las Vegas in particular is primed for further growth (i.e. rental growth and price appreciation). 

Looking at a property in the Southwest of Detroit, Springwells Village area to be specific. 

There’s a decent gated fourplex community at Maryland and hacienda (south east/central by bulb) and a few more in spring valley (southwest)  I love to tak real estate if you want to get together sometime I can show you what/where I invested (all sfh or bounce ideas about other areas.)
