Does anyone have any knowledge about what the rental market is like in those areas and if I would be able to fill one or two rentals year round of if it would be more favorable to just do seasonal rentals.

So $750 (monthly income) * 12 months = $9,000/($4,598.07 + $2,500) = 0.77 (rounded) - 1= 0.23 or 23%

Obviously, to take advantage of all of these is ideal, however, specifics can help you round out your portfolio to be the most efficient.

Also all the base trim needs to come off the wall if possible. you could leave it on and use quarter round but that is questionable.

It does sound like you are pretty well rounded! 

It also concerns me that the majority of your STR market is golfers, I am looking for something that has the potential for year round rental potential.

@Matt Schelbergoh and I got the insurance quote from realtor.com so I just rounded it up to 1200 thats probabally the most accurate number

One round trip flight is at least $600 (not sure where in Alaska the property is), legal fees, your time, etc.
