Regarding AB1482, I read that Landlords still have authority to evict tenants if the landlord is getting out of the real estate business.

We called our local section 8 housing authority to notify them and asked why there has been no inspection yet.

@Kristine Ann thanks to you I found out yesterday that there is a university housing web site that lets property owners post their listings.

In order to receive a rent increase, the rent increase request form submitted to the Housing Authority must be signed by the tenant and landlord.
