There is no animal overnight boarding, just drop off's for grooming and pick ups later.Going with #2 would literally save me ~$250k in vanilla shell, TI allowance, broker fees etc.... all up front. 

and overnight the condos lost about 40% of their value. . . . then the investors who owned about 30% of the complex were all trying to sell their units to owner-occupants at the same time.

If all else fails, camp out in gym gear and wait till you see people walking toward the house.

Not solving the problem overnight.

That means no tent camping, no glamping, no RV or trailer rentals, no tiny home renting.

Those can disappear overnight, then you'll be very exposed to the big unexpected event.

Most likely they are not and you are securing YOUR property so that someone does not get in there and camp out or burn the place down.Fix the items that you need to and keep the unit locked.

All of them are fantastic teachers and none of them are "gurus" trying to sell you expensive boot camps or personal coaching programs or any of the other inflated stuff out there in the REI industry.

However, I felt they could be great STRs if I could market their closeness to the equine center but...I wasn't sure that this equine center had people coming from out of the area who would need a place to stay overnight or for a few days.
