These two focus areas would certainly aid in understanding more of your business, such as tax implications through your various transactions or general accounting/bookkeeping.

Bookkeeping was a pain in the butt.

It is too cumbersome to have only one property (unless it was a large apartment building) in a LLC (with it's own checking account, own tax return, own accounting and bookkeeping, etc).

She does bookkeeping and taxes for many RE investors here on Oahu.

I'm very efficient with Microsoft Excel and could offer some bookkeeping or paperwork catch-up in exchange for your time, knowledge, or skin on a deal. 

There are many good CPAs, EAs and bookkeepers here on BiggerPockets.  

Using QB for the invoicing means I don't have any further bookkeeping to do after I send the invoice - it knows which invoice which payments are for and matches and closes them automatically. 

At the same time, it is a great way to take your lumps and learn how to manage the property, the tenants, the bookkeeping, the books, etc.
