You could do a VA in Bremerton and an FHA in DC.HUD 4000.1 pg 133 (ii,7,a), specifically states that a military member in your case would qualify for a FHA loan back in Washington, DC with your soon to be spouse (congrats btw!).

I would think if its a up and running HML then there is a PG attached to the loan... the loan is on the collateral not the LLC...

I apologize if it isn't.I recently read Gary Keller's book "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" and in one part of the book (Part Two: The Four Stages>Own A Million>Issue 15: Protect Your Assets, pg. 302) he briefly touches on the importance of "entity and estate planning" in relation to protecting yourself against liabilities and minimizing taxes in the long run.
