The bar is too distracting for me--I liked it better when we used to have a room at Caribou Coffee. ...seemed to be more engaging. 

The bar for PMs in the area seems so low that tenants will love you for even the most minor things.

You could very easily fall flat in that business just like any other business bar, restaurant, cell phone sales, IT etc...

This is from the statute "197.432 Sale of tax certificates for unpaid taxes" See section (14):(13) The holder of a tax certificate may not directly, through an agent, or otherwise initiate contact with the owner of property upon which he or she holds a tax certificate to encourage or demand payment until 2 years after April 1 of the year of issuance of the tax certificate.(14) Any holder of a tax certificate who, prior to the date 2 years after April 1 of the year of issuance of the tax certificate, initiates, or whose agent initiates, contact with the property owner upon which he or she holds a certificate encouraging or demanding payment may be barred by the tax collector from bidding at a tax certificate sale.

You've got to get up there with your pry bar, pull the nails, cement and replace all the crap that's flapping and breaking in the breeze.

From my neighborhood, I can walk to a starbucks, a cuban restaurant, a bar with a good pool table, a good mexican restaurant, pizza shop.

It does create a higher bar to demonstrate your intent.  

If starting a new business what skills and experience do you have that leads you to the house flipping business as opposed to opening up a bar or something like that?
