@Chandra Mcculloch - our response rate on direct mail is admittedly bad, we have much more success doing calls and we are working on establishing an online SEO presence (not there yet, but see the value).We've also recently tested handwritten notes to a small group around our current jobs.  

We call that territory "mid county" and you've got your sights set on a good starting place.
