I've spent a lot of time in Phoenix in my previous role selling technology to some of the largest tech companies there including GoDaddy.

Once in awhile I get requests from programmers trying to develop an app or some program for human intelligence, can't be done, while parts of the analysis can be accomplished much easier with technology we don't have artificial intelligence to make objective and subjective determinations.

This is making me start to feel old not understanding the technology!

We also have Joint Base Lewis/Mchord in our back yard, a port, technology, timber, and a few colleges. 

So at this point I am paying my office dues on a monthly basis, but not using any of the technology that I am paying for.

Setting up a portal is HARD WORK and requires a lot of knowledge of technology, securities law, marketing, etc. to do it right.  

I deal in a sunset technology in the semiconductor industry.

Ideally they would be based in Southern California, but with technology these days, it wouldn't be a deal killer if they are cross country.

I am planning to go back to school also to get my construction technology degree to learn some of the contracting parts of the business as well.

Face to face meetings are good as long as the technology supports it and they aren't too long.
